EWA Members Raise over $10K for Education in Wireless Technologies

The Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA), a national association representing the interests of businesses that rely on private wireless technologies, is pleased to announce that it has donated over $10,000 to Old Dominion University (ODU) for the EWA-Joseph B. Vestal Endowed Scholarship, which awards financial aid to a full-time student at ODU enrolled in Electrical Engineering Technology or Information Systems Management who intends to pursue a professional career in wireless applications or telecommunications.

Scholarship funds are raised through individual and corporate donations as well as through a silent auction held each year at the Wireless Leadership Summit, a conference for leaders of the private wireless industry.
