September 18, 2018 (Herndon, VA) — Securing certified frequencies should be an easy process, and not take days or weeks with cumbersome forms and passwords. That’s why the Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA) created the Cevo Go® mobile app in 2017, revolutionizing the private land mobile industry’s approach to identifying and securing certified frequencies. Now, EWA is combining the power and innovation of the Cevo Go mobile app with convenience of access via EWA’s website. This next step allows licensing professionals, license owners and wireless system suppliers to utilize Cevo Go from any connected device, whether desktop, laptop, tablet, or smart phone.
Whether using the mobile app or online version, Cevo Go allows users to almost immediately secure certified frequencies for use within new or expanding wireless systems in the VHF and UHF bands for Business/Industrial Land Transportation (B/ILT) applicants. Answers to eight simple prompts trigger EWA’s proprietary software that will identify coordinator-certified frequencies that meet the specified system requirements and which are immediately available for selection by the user. When the frequencies are selected by the user, EWA prepares and submits a license application to the FCC. Fees for Cevo Go are inclusive of all costs, including FCC filing fees. Users incur no costs unless and until they accept the results provided by Cevo Go. Users may then track FCC license applications initiated through Cevo Go in EWA’s frequency coordination portal Cevo®.
