I became aware recently of a member’s concern that my blog had regressed to a series of rants and that it was not an effective way of responding to those who advocate a different opinion. To be clear, I appreciate the feedback, but my blogs tend to focus on the outlandish, misleading, and sometimes dishonest claims from policy adversaries. I want them to know that at least one person recognizes nonsense when they see it. It’s never personal, just business and it helps to have a sense of humor which is in short supply these days. Instead of relying on my blog to learn about EWA’s advocacy initiatives, we highly recommend that members attend EWA’s Member Regulatory Virtual Teleconferences which are held every other Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., ET, during which EWA’s staff leadership and Regulatory Counsel discuss the latest in wireless developments. We also encourage members to read EWA’s Insider e-newsletter that covers EWA, FCC and industry news which is published approximately twice each month. Just the facts are presented devoid of comments from a smart aleck (except occasional color commentary during the regulatory call).
