EWA's Advocacy Report Tells the Story

EWA's Advocacy Report Tells the Story

Last week, the Enterprise Wireless Alliance (EWA) convened its annual Membership and Board of Directors meetings in Atlanta, Georgia. One of the more critical reports provided during the membership meeting is the Advocacy Initiatives Report, which is presented by EWA’s Regulatory Counsel, Liz Sachs, Esq.This report shares detailed activities associated with EWA’s endless pursuit to enhance the ability of its members to benefit from the spectrum resources that have dedicated for private enterprise uses by the FCC. As we noted during the opening session of the Wireless Leadership Summit, the environment for spectrum is changing. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) seeks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of this finite resource, an objective that EWA totally endorses. Concurrently, however, it is imperative that the FCC remains aware of the many benefits that are provided to the American public through the implementation of proactive rules that support wireless systems owned and operated by private business enterprises.

If you want to become more engaged in EWA's advocacy initiatives, join us on the bi-weekly EWA Member Regulatory Teleconference. Every two weeks, Liz Sachs and I discuss regulatory and spectrum matters that can have an impact on member businesses. To make sure you receive the invitations to the teleconference, please call Kristi Wolford at 703-7975104.

This call is available only to EWA members. If you are not a member, join! Learn more about membership at EWA's website.
